Day 11 Sunday, 16.11.2008 Position: S72°53,7' W009°36,8' Distance: 80km Elevation: 1000m Wow, we asked for wind -- and today we got it!!! Dieter realized this ain't buggy kiting on the beach in Wales and Armin noted that kiting in Greenland was much easier - its all about the sastrugis here! We have to be very careful not to break our bones as these sastrugis are a combination of ski ramps and downhill moguls. We are super happy about having gotten wind and made 80km today. We are also mentally and physically exhausted from 8 hours of full concentration and adjusting to the constant vibrations. We hope to get another good kiting day in tomorrow.
