Day 8 Thursday, 13.11.2008 Position: S71°56,9' W008°41,8' Distance: 19km Elevation: 480m First thing this morning we had to deal with major disappointment and do some inner peace work before even crawling out of our sleeping bags! The reason for all of this was that we were ecstatic and giggly like little kids last night after getting our weather forecast for today. (We are not sure if you folks get them on our weather page as well) Basically it said sail 'till you drop all day. We set our alarm even a bit early to get the most out of the day since it is all steady uphill from here - only to find no wind at all! Not even a bit. Well, being in such extreme environment taught us quickly that one of the challenges and opportunities for us will be releasing attachments and deal with frustrations - today we both did really well and enjoyed a physicly demanding, gorgeous and windstill day, climbing steadily into the mountains.
