Day 6 Tuesday, 11.11.2008 Position: S71°41,37' W008°35,96' Distance: 16km This morning the wind was teasing us. It was a light but promising easterly, just right for trying out our 'Ultra Light Big-Boy' kite. Full of hope we got into gear to kite and just as we lifted the kites in the air, the winds died down completely. After some futile attempts we changed boots, skis and clothes and went back to manhauling. On a positive note, we finally left the shelfice behind us and have made our camp on the continent for the first time. We also find that we are both experiencing dreams with scenes from distant childhood life.
