For the entire length of the skiing portion of the expedition, which is expected to begin on November 3rd 2008, we will host the Aloha Ice Challenge - A fun game where you will have the opportunity, daily, to intuit or guess the distance (in kilometres) which will be covered during the upcoming day. The daily "Ice Blog" where you find the description of previous legs could be of help to gauge the correct distance. Of course checking our "Antarctic Weather" section may be of help as well as trying to find general information available on the internet about weather conditions at the South Pole or in the vicinity of the "Neumayer" station. And of course, it may be a great idea to include your intuition as well!

The winners will be announced and the prices sent out in the beginning of March 2009. The winner is, who, at the end of the expedition, has the most correct (or closest approximations to actual numbers) hits.
